Traffic in Paris with the Olympic and Paralympic Games
The Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
The Paralympic Games will take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024
To note:
• The Hotel Verneuil Saint-Germain is in the red zone of the security perimeter for the opening ceremony from July 18 to 26. During this period, an authorization (QR Code) is requested for motorized vehicles. Your reservation confirmation will be requested at checkpoints if you are traveling by taxi.
• Traffic will be prohibited for motorized vehicles on July 26 from 1:00 p.m. around the hotel.
As a pedestrian, you can move freely and without any restrictions.
• On August 3, you will be required to provide a digital pass to access the hotel by motorized vehicle.

Access via Charles De Gaulle airport :
• By RER B: the RER B will take you to Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame station, you can join Metro 4 and head towards Saint-Germain-des-Prés station, a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. As with the taxi ride, this is a transport used to travel to the Olympic sites, which will result in a greater density of travelers.
• By Taxi: Access to CDG airport is used for certain Olympic sites. One lane is reserved on the road and will cause disruptions and slowdowns on the way. If you want to take a taxi to get to Paris, it will be possible, but it will take more time.

No disruption expected on the Orly / Paris route.

• Orlyval (bus) to around Antony then take RER B to Denfert-Rochereau.
• Orlybus: Denfert-Rochereau stop, then take line 4 to Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
